I’ve never know true happiness until I heard my baby’s first babbles

What the title says. My LO has been making some sounds since 4 months, but from one day to the other (just turned 8 months) she’s constantly babbling while playing, eating, anything. She can string a few different sounds like “daaaadaaadaaa” to “beeeeebeeebeeee”. It’s SO. DAMN. CUTE. When she looks at me and she makes these sounds like she’s trying to speak, I melt. It’s like a dopamine rush, makes me feel like this must be true happiness (until I get tired of it?). Who knows.
